A variety of workshops are being offered on Thursday afternoon. Delegates can choose one 90 or up to two 45 minute workshops. All workshops have limited capacity; register early to reserve your place. A few workshop have an additional fee.

Participants in this hands-on workshop will experience a variety of activities and demonstrations inside and outside of the dome which are designed to increase understanding of the nature of light and how it is used to learn about space.

The classroom-based workshop will offer a hands on Master Class software training session for DigitalSky using laptop workstations.

The planetarium-based workshop will introduce you to the newest visuals from DigitalSky 2 and the Digital Universe plug-in.

With a special geared motor, a transformer and a light baffle, you can create your own LCD video shutter during this workshop.
