Omet 8P/Tuttle in Cassiopeia

Comet 8P/Tuttle can be seen passing through the northern sky from the area around Polaris at the beginning of the month into Cassiopeia, Andromeda, and Triangulum by the end of the month. The comet will get brighter every night, and the tail will get longer. Comet 8P/Tuttle can be seen with binoculars or a telescope, or can be seen at its brightest peak with the naked eye when it reaches Cassiopeia. January will be the best time to view it. Comet 8P/Tuttle is the source of the Ursid meteor shower occurring on December 22nd.
