The Calumet Astronomical Society (CAS) is hosting its fall viewing event called “Observations of the Ringed Planet, Saturn”. It will be held on November 9 and 10 from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. at Lemon Lake County Park. The Park is located on 133rd Avenue between Cedar Lake and Crown Point.

The CAS members bring their telescopes and large viewing binoculars to help you observe the sky. They will aim their telescopes at different objects visible this time of year. Be sure to dress for the weather. If the weather is too inclement, the night viewing event may be cancelled.
