NORAD (North American Air Defense) reported that some kind of space debris had entered Earth’s atmosphere and broken up. It was reported to the Federal Aviation Administration’s regional center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Space debris varies in size and could have been a hazard to aircraft.

The space debris was seen streaking through the skies over Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The debris was thought to be from a satellite that fell into many pieces as it entered the atmosphere. Brilliant streaks of light of different sizes could be seen passing across the sky.
