Launches

NASA future missions scheduled for 2011 include: Space Shuttles Discovery in February for mission STS-133 and Endeavour in April on mission STS-134, the last Space Shuttle flight; GLORY in February to study aerosols and black carbon; AQUARIUS in June to study salt concentrations in the ocean surface; JUNO in August to study Jupiter; GRAIL (Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory) in October; to study the lunar exterior for 3 months; MARS SCIENCE LABORATORY in November, designed as a roving, long-duration science laboratory for a future sample return mission to study the environment for microbial life.
