Russia lost 6 communications satellites last month when a booster rocket failed after launch from the Plesetsk cosmodrome located in the Russian Arctic. Three civilian and three military communications satellites crashed into the Atlantic Ocean with a Ukrainian-made Cyclone-3 booster rocket. It’s the second failed satellite launch from the far north cosmodrome in two months.
