New Crew at Space Station

The International Space Station has its second crew already. Last month, the Space Shuttle Discovery completed mission STS-102, which brought the new crew and returned the first crew members after their four-and-a-half month stay.

The first crew of the International Space Station included Expedition One Commander astronaut William "Bill" M. Shepard, cosmonauts Yuri P. Gidzenko, and Sergei K. Krikalov. The second crew includes astronauts Jim Voss, Susan Helms, and cosmonaut Yuri Usachev. The second crew will have a four-month stay aboard the space station.
